The product title language selection setting is not working even if a different language is selected in easyLabel
If the problem above seems to occur, there is a possibility that one of the three problems below is happening.
- The product does not have any translations
- The language settings in the market is not active
- There is a mistake in the configuration of default store language
1. The product does not have any translations
If the store is using Translate and adapt in the store, each product will be available for translations to other languages. To learn about how to add translations to each product, please refer to the help article below;
Product title language selection
By adding a Title with a different language, the product title will automatically translate itself to English at the easyLabel label creation screen.
2. The language settings in the market is not active
In the market settings, if the international shipping location does not have languages active, the feature will not work correctly. Please make sure, languages are added and active in the market settings.
3. If the store default setting is set to English
This is not much of a problem, but if your store language is set to English but your product title is set to Japanese, the feature will not work as intended. The product title in the main Shopify UI is recognized as the same language as the store default language, so if the main product title is set to Japanese, but the store default language is English, it will recognize the Japanese as English and will not translate the product title.
Please make sure your store default language and the language for your main product title are the same.
