In easyLabel, we have added a section on each label, where users can configure the email notification settings for the package. Essentially, this is the same as the "Delivery Status Email Setting" in the label creation for the Japan Post International Mail My page.
The setting itself is located in every label, under the order information.
*This setting is only available for labels that have not been created / fulfilled yet.
Click "Add Notifications" to configure notification settings.
Notification Settings
Users can modify email addresses, mail languages and the notifications sent out.
① Sender
The upper half of the setting is to configure what the sender (the store) of the package receives for notification.
② Email Address
Please input the email address for the sender (ex. Store email address), the notification mail will be sent to this address.
③ Email Language
This is the Email language the mail notification will be sent in. Currently, users can select between Japanese and English. The Email Language setting can be set individually for the sender or the recipient.
④ Notices
Users can select what timing to send out mails. Selecting all would result in 7 mails arriving in total.
This setting can be configured for both the Sender and the Recipient.
⑤ Recipient
The bottom half of the setting is to configure what the Recipient of the package receives for notifications.
The 4 points above can be set for the Recipient as well.
⑥ Remove Notifications
Clicking this button disables notifications, and notifications will never be sent.
When clicking this, the settings configured will stay, the setting itself would be disabled.
Warnings and Considerations
Please understand that the "Email Notification" setting is for shipping methods that are available for tracking. This means shipping methods like Small Packet - surface and airmail are not available for notifications. However, Small Packet - Registered Airmail is available for tracking.
Whenever these shipping methods are selected, Email notification will automatically close, and once opened, there is a warning which mentions the shipping method is not supported.
